In your hands is a scarf based on a limited edition design made exclusively for the Livingstone Foundation by Elizabeth Mink, a visual artist based in the Netherlands. These designs are based off of a series of flower paintings and Ebru designs. Each scarf contributes to the well-being and happiness of girls in Zambia: future women, mothers, aunts and grandmothers can continue their education by receiving reusable menstrual pads such that they can continue to attend school. Wearing this scarf ensures that 2 girls are able to attend school for 2 years! The fabric is a sustainable chiffon made with recycled plastic bottles. The finishing on the scarves was done by Susanna Tam.
